TOM Group Ltd, a Hong Kong-listed technology and media company, reported on Wednesday total revenue of HK$401 million ($51.1 million) for the first half of this year versus HK$402 million for the same period last year.
Revenue from the media business, including publishing and advertising units, stood at HK$376 million in the first six months of 2022, while revenue from technology platform and investments reached HK$26 million. Its gross profit margin amounted to 41 percent during this period.
Despite sporadic disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, TOM Group demonstrated strong resilience and accelerated initiatives to expand its digital segment, maintaining a steady growth in total revenue.
The company has continued to focus on sectors with high growth potential such as e-commerce, new retail, fintech and advanced data analytics.
